I had a scoliosis fusion surgery when I was 14 in 2008. Eight years later, I am now nearly 22 and not very active. I go theough excercise stages, mostly swimming because that is the lowest impact sport that has not bothered my back. I am also pretty flexible and do yoga sometimes.
I find that whenever I attempt to run, I feel tightening and pressure to the point that I literally have to shake it off and stop. I am wondering if this is common for others? My dR couldn't remark on it my last visit but I would like to take up running.
Any thoughts or tips?
