I was reading here and saw that you are all so nice and know so much about back problems, I was wondering if you can give me your opinions. This is only my preliminary report. I will post the full one when I get it. I have had bad pain for almost 2 years I have tried, PT, core strengthening, massage, meds, heat, walking had 4 epidural injections (at once) I am scheduled for another 4 injections next week, the first one only lasted for 5 weeks. My pain is in my right and left buttocks and my right hip down the front of my thigh to but not past my knee. The only time it goes past my knee is these electric shocks. I also go into spasm so bad sometimes that I get really "crooked" and I look like a cartoon character (and it is excruciating....)

I know that was a long intro but here it is:

L1-L2 R lateral dic protrusion with mild right lateral canal stenosis
L2-3; L3-4; L4-5;5-S1 miled dic bulges with minimal to mild canal compromise. I know that on the one the doc read to me it said that the L4-5 one has an annular fissure (?) I know it's pretty vague...
just looking for someone who understands opinion.

  • Welcome to spine-health,i have had a surgury on a annular fissure.the pain was in the buttocks, and that is where the annular fissure was,it is better now since i has a surgury to repair it....any question about the fissure please fill free to pm me....
