My name is Lindsay, I'm a 53 year old male who lives in Montreal, Canada (province of Quebec). I'm, quite frankly scared to death! I have no shame admitting to this, it's a simple fact! I've had two MRI's so far. One on august 29th, 2010, and the other five years and three months later on November 29th, 2015. I was always active. I need to move around a lot or I go crazy. Love long distance walking, training etc... Sadly, all this seems to be threatened. Things
took a turn for the worst in latetish October and the rest is history. I find the cold hard to deal with.

I have osteoarthritis in my lower cervical (from C4 to C7, with C5 and C6 being more effected, and the last two lumber disks/vertebra - L4 and L5. Strangely, it's all considered "mild". When one area hurts, the other is 'quite'. Right now, it's the neck. I get an achy stiff neck and headaches that usually cover the whole scalp, including the forehead, one or both arms and shoulders and upper back. Sometimes, I get it into the sides of my face, and there is often a strange sensation around my lower throat and chest as well.

I also from time to time, have a mild feeling that I have to concentrate I little more on my movements. Oddly, it's this that I find the most frightening. Is it a slight loss of motor control?

I currently need to take a couple of Tylanol (for arthritic pain). It helps with the pain, but not the numbness. Maybe I'll post my MRI results soon.

Holding together and coming in on a wing and a prayer, Lindsay

Sorry to hear that I will find out if there is a problem or whether it is because there aren't any listed

Currently, there are no doctors from Canada that have registered with Spine-Health.

The Find a Doctor feature searches only doctors who have registered, so it is not an all inclusive list. It does grow rapidly each month as more and more physicians are registering.
