I'm Yvette- a newbie to the site! I was recently kicked out of my pain management doctor. My PM DR had prescribed me hydromorphone. In December 2015, I had surgery to repair an umbilical hernia. At the hospital my surgeon prescribed me Tylenol 3. I didn't disclose to my pain management doctor that I had taken the Tylenol 3 because their medication wasn't working. They seen me for a couple more weeks and even prescribed me something stronger. Than they came back in January and said I failed a drug test in December. So, I got removed from practice. I would like to know if you think I would be able to find another pain management doctor that will be willing to take me on as a patient after this. Also, I want to be upfront and honest with my new doctor and tell him what happen. I would like to know what all can they old practice will transfer to the new doctor. I've heard that they can not disclose "negative" information about you to the new doctor. Please help me. I live in daily pain and don't know if I can go through life in this type of pain everyday.
