I have a mild central herniated disk at the c6-c7 cervical spine, a bulging disk in the same spot, mild arthritis, inflammation at the faucet joints and muscle spasm.
I've had this severe pain for over 7 months and sometimes the pain go's away for a week at most, then it comes back full throttle.
I'm on morphine extended release once a day.
The pain is so bad, its like I think it will never get better.
I've also been in physio for 2 months and a half.
Before this, I had to fight to get a doc and not treat me like a drug addict because of how much pain I was in and am in, so that he could give me opiods. Also, without morphine/oxycodone, I would be crying. The pain is 12-18 hrs a day but luckily, I rarely wake up from sleep.
I don't know what to do..should I get an examination for neuropathy? Should I just go straight to look for a surgeon?
I know surgery is a last resort but the pain is damn well severe and its pretty much everyday.
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys :)thanks in advance!
