New symptoms after surgery

Hi. I had ACDF on C4,C5,C6 in September 2015. Everything was great and until mid November, when my symptoms (general weakness and numbness in arms hands & legs) returned. Apparently those vertebrae fused so well, the discs above and below (c3 and T1) herniated. So, I had posterior decompression and fusion from c3 to t2 on December 18. There were complications (a period of time when they weren't sure if I would have any motor function after surgery) but everything came out ok. After 2 weeks of agony, I was able to begin to move around on my own. After surgery my left hand was very weak and shaky and my right hand was weak. These symptoms were not present before surger and my neurosurgeon''s opinion at my 2 week follow up was that the muscles needed to heal . Now, almost 2 months after surgery, I can use my arms and hands and there has been great improvement as far as use of my arms and hands but there is a feeling of tightness from the bottom of my biceps through my forearms and thumb, forefingers and middle fingers of both arms. This feeling is much more evident in my left arm than my right and wasn't present at all prior to surgery, I am scheduled for an 8 week follow up with X-rays on February 1, and I'm very nervous about what he will find.
All of that being said ( and I know I'm extremely wordy) i guess I'm just looking for feedback from someone who understands where I'm coming from.
