I'm a 35 year old male and for the past 4 years, I have been dealing with pain stemming from herniated discs in my lumbar. I ended up having a laminectomy 4 years ago and it worked great. But for the past 3 years, the pain in the back, the tingling in the leg and what feels unstable back is back, although seems higher...and seems to be worse. Currently been taking gabapentin, flexeril and percocet and have been for the past 3 years. I have done PT and injections, which don't seem to offer much relief...injections give about a week's worth of comfort. Just had an MRI and my family doctor said the results showed that the spine is stable and no stenosis in the spinal canal, which goes against everything that I am feeling. I am still meeting with my surgeon in a few weeks to see what his thoughts are.
Just wanted to see if any one else has had something similar. I know that I am not crazy and the pain really is there.
