I injured by T3/T4 3 years ago on an elliptical and didn't realize at the time that I likely sprained my ligaments that lead to 3 years of those ribs continually slipping out, which caused a domino effect of several other ribs continually slipping. I first went to my chiropractor and got frustrated after a few visits when he remarked that his adjustments weren't staying in place. This was unusual as I'd see him on and off for years and he's not one of those doctors who wants you to come back all the time. I just stopped seeing him, thinking he was the problem. Unfortunately I chose to go to ortho doctors who were looking for something structurally wrong with me, injecting pain meds, giving me steroids, and just shaking their heads. Three years later, I went back to my chiropractor, and have come to realized that I really injured the ligaments holding these ribs in place, and while I've been waiting a rib brace the adjustments are not holding more than a few days and I want to pursue prolotherapy. Has anyone had this in their thoracic spine? Any recommendations in the Los Angeles area? Any reviews of this therapy either way from anyone who has had it done recently?
