Only 2 days ago I would not have believed I would feel so good! Woke up on the 5th week anniversary of surgery (yesterday) and felt wonderful! Haven't felt this good since about 2-3 weeks before surgery. Still have some pain on my hip where they took the bone for graft, but everything else seems to have really calmed down. Hip-hip-horay!!! There is light at the end of this dark tunnel we are all in. Keep the faith and praise the Lord!!!

  • I am five weeks also and it is amazing how much better I feel! This is the second day that I haven't needed any pain releif during the day. I need to remember to not overdo it. Hope each day is better for you too.
Severe DDD. Klippel Feil Deformity. Cervical Foraminatomy that turned into Lamy. I have tried so many treatments, therapy's and medications.
  • I'm am very happy for both of you. <:P
I hope that your recovery continues to go well. :)

  • Im so happy to hear you are feeling good!! =D>

I am just 1week post PLIF and still having quite a bit of discomfort so I am happy to hear that it will get better. Actually that hip pain you mention is the origin of most of my pain. The uppper part of the incision isnt bothering me at all.

So congrats on a successful surgey!!! :O) <:P
