After my Spinal Fusion I got a case of Shingles on and around my scar. Now everytime I get stressed a few itchy painful bumps appear again on my scar. I also notice my back aches and hurts immensley when theses bumps are around. Do u think they are Shingles again, or does anyome else ever have the same problem?

  • .. I can't help you with this as I haven't had it myself but I just wanted to bump your post back up to the top and I hope someone else can help. Good luck and I hope things calm down soon.
  • you are having an allergic reaction with the surgical tape that was used. I know I had an awful time while the tape was on with itchiness and then soreness and stinging.
If youre scared it is shingles again then you should have it checked by the doctor. My sister in law had gets them quite a bit and finds them hard to get rid of.

    Good Luck,
    Christina :)
