Can't lay on my back?!

Why is it that I can't lay on my back, to quiet the sciatica I have to lay on my side.
When I am on my back it keeps zinging me...
Is anyone else like this?
It makes it so difficult, for reading watching TV etc...


  • Sorry to hear its so difficult to get comfy laying down. My mom has had 2 unsuccessful fusions and has had to lay on her side for years. I go through periods where laying on my back is almost impossible, at least you can find a position that gives you some relief from pain. Not the same as being "normal", I know...
