I'm the one who's NS told me I was too complicated and wouldn't do surgery and referred me to a Physiatrist. That appointment never happened because I waited for 1 1/2 hours and he never saw me. ~X( So I called my primary care Dr. and got in yesterday AM.
I told him I needed help and gave him a reader's digest version of what's been going on. Dr's saying what bad shape I'm, how much pain I must be in and then kicking me out the door. I brought all of my reports and films.
He read through them as I was talking to him. He gave me a steroid shot for my arm and gave me 3 scripts to help w/ my pain (Mobic, Lyrica and Vicodin) and the best part is he is referring me to the best Neurosurgeon hospital (Barrows Neurological) in the state. My husband ran my films down to the NS office yesterday. The Dr. reviews the films before they make appointments, which I think is GREAT! So I'm feeling a little more hopeful now.
