What is your diagnosis?

Hi,
Do you possibly have fFibromyalgia? I'm not sure where this thread was posted as I found it on the side bar. If you have Fibro, my flareups last for about 3 days. 3 days of pure misery! If you have any questions please feel free to send me a pm. I hope you feel better soon.

I have had Fibro for years

I have had Fibro since I was about 15. And the answer to your question is Flares can last months upon months. The longest one I had lasted 13 months. Needless to say I was about insane by the time it began to ease off.

If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message as I don't come on the Fibro board too often, my current problems seem to be with my back and the lack of relief I get from my pain meds these days.

Flares

The length and intensity of flare ups from fibromyalgia have a lot to do with recent quality of sleep, physical exertion, stress, meds, barometric
pressure changes, age...so many factors are involved. Some people go into remission, some get worse over time.

Just take care of yourself the best you can - and "know" that it'll be over.

I'm NOT a doctor.

Hi MJFIVE Yes what u have

Hi MJFIVE

Yes what u have can be considered a flare if it is more pain than your regular pain. I am in my third month of a major flare right now. I am going to include something for your info. A link about Fibro flare symptoms.
Hope you feel better soon.
