I had a 4 level fusion with hardware in 2007 (L3-S1) A long recovery and then a lot of leg pain after long overnight flight to Europe in 08. After seeing 3 different spine surgeons, they all tend to agree that there is no fusion and 2 loose screws at L4. They also agree that they will not operate on me but I should tend to loose screws. I will not see the original surgeon again because he told me that fusion was perfect even at a year. I am going out to Texas Back Institute next week to see if they can help. If not going for test for SCS implant. Wish me luck and will keep you posted on progress. Not giving up at 70.
