Lower Back Pain
18 months

Sad i was injured at work 18 mo. ago and just getting mri done. No workmans comp. no ins. no money. Went to court and judge ordered mri and it took 9 more weeks to get them to do it. i`ve had to give up everything because i have nothing. I`m depressed and in pain always. I need someone to talk to that has back pain also.

Why no workers comp?

Hey there cantdance,
I was wondering why there's no workers comp if you were hurt at work? Are they just telling you that? Get an attorney, if the legal system ( judge ordering MRI) is already on your side then I would think you have a case. Keep notes on everything, dates, time, names,etc... But definitely talk with an attorney. Hope you feel better, Sagehen

i'm sorry to hear that you are having so many problems in your life right now, but completely understand as my life tends to have the snowball effect as well. back pain is hell, and you've come to the right place for support. I have only been here about a week, but find myself checking a few times a day to see what's new, and to socialize on chat (really helpful when u cant socialize in person anymore).

have u tried getting any kind of government assistance?ssi? saw the note about court--u have atty? what do they think? during this time, there is no such thing as a stupid question--write them down as meds tend to make us "forgetful".

hang in there, and don't give up--we're here for you!
