hello everybody
i posted two weeks ago when i lost the motion of both my feet 4 weeks after a discectomy. i lost them for 7 days untill i went to the er sat. due to a bladder infection. when iu bent over to put my shoes on my feet came back and now 4 days later there gone again. my question is could a bladder infection cause this to happen.

Never heard.....

I've never heard of anything like that happening from reading others' posts on here, however, I am far from a medical professional. Did you ask them at the ER if this could be due to the bladder infection. That must've been very scary and I'm glad you got the feeling back in your feet. Sorry I couldn't help you with your question.

Hello --

I would be more concerned that the "bladder infection" and the loss of feeling in your feet is a result of the nerve damage from the discectomy.

Something is compressing a nerve that is resulting in the loss of feeling in your feet. Did you have a lumbar surgery?
