degenarative disc, herniated disc, no curve on neck

hello everyone new to this site,34 female, basically i'm freaking out of my mind, what else could be wrong with me. here the details, two years ago i was diagnosed with herniated disc L4 L5 and arthritis on facet joints. i was off work for 6 months which helps me alot, physical therapy, chiro(admin work)i would say i was 80% better, so continued my healthy habits and exercise regularly. Since i been back to work about a year now, things got much worse for me, pain everymorning when i wake up, stiff neck and back, i would do yoga @5:00 am, need to be at 8:00 but i have to get kids ready for school all the good stuff so i get early so have time for my self. anyways i was working out at the gym, just random man came up to me and ask how much pain i'm on, what the hell? he gave me his card where he works at chiropractor office, so went to see him, he gave an xray and there it is more disc poppin out, and my neck has no curves that's why i can't turn certain way, so he offer me an treatment that will show results with in 6 months,he also showed me other patients that has good results. well its going to cost me $6000 out of my pocket because insurance doesnt cover it, actually hmo doesnt ppo does. i'm completely demonstated, i cried all night feeling sorry for my self. all this time i thought iwas doing everything right then to see my whole spine drifting to the right. i'm scared! i need some comfort advice from you all. i'm only already struggling single mom, how do i afford this kind of money. Yawn

Hi mom2, am also new here, just read your post. I have herniated disc L3-S1, work related injury, I can relate with the pain you are experiencing right now, I empathize with you. How did you hurt your back? Is it work related, if so, the company you are working at can pay for the treatments, doctors visits, specialists, etc... Helen
