I received my MRI findings and spoke with the doctor. However, I would like to know what the long term prognosis could be.
According to fthe findings:
L3-4 There is disc interspace narrowing with moderate broad based annular disc buldging and associated small marginal osteophytes. THis bulgind disc moderatley compresses tje amterior and left anterolaterl thecal sac with moderate extension int the left L3-4 neural foramen. There are endplate reactive marrow changes present. There is mild to moderate bilaeral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy present.

L4-5 Normal disc. There is moderat bulateral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy is present

L5-S1 Disc interspace narrowing present with mild broad based annular disk bulging.

Such words as: anterolaterl thecal sac, bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertophy, degenerative disc changes, neural foramen are all terms that laymen don't use. Can someone make sense of what is written above. I will greatly appreciate this.
