Matters of the Heart - Why we need this so much

Matters of the Heart Forum Category was setup to allow members to post about things that are close to them,
The actual Category Description is:

For all things emotional/psychological you want to talk about--anxiety, stress, relationship issues, etc.

That is so important to the overall medical and emotional well being for any patient. We will always allow members to continue to make posts in this category that are near and dear to them, being it from one stresses them to an email address that a friend just got.

Sorry for your loss

I am new to this site so I did not know your son or brother. I am how ever very sorry for your loss. I pray that he is at peace. The internet has allowed us all to come together to help each other if we allow it.

Though your family chain has been broken it will be whole again...

My boyfriend of 2 years decided I needed more time to recover from my last surgery (another fusion, I have had 3) so he has deleted me from his life. Kind of hard to take and very selfish on his part. This is the time I need more support. Guess I don't need someone like that in my life but we did have a lot of fun together and he made me laugh a lot which I needed. I have had 3 fusions in 4 years and am fused L1 to S1. My latest surgery was the end of march and am having a tough recovery since the vertebrae were separated in order to put in a spacer as the disc was too deteriorated. This wasn't planned til the got in and saw the disc. I am having a longer recovery with a lot more pain than my 2 other fusions. Very frustrating. The recovery was hard enough without this happening.
