Anti-depression Meds
Can you anyone tell me what anti-depression meds have worked for you? I need to find something that won't make me sleepy or gain weight do to I also have hashimoto thyroiditis. Please share what you have tried and has failed and also what works and why it works for you. I do know everyone is different but I need to get a little more infor for myself. thanks all.
I'm using a combo of 450 mg. Welbutrin XL and 20 mg. Prozac. I have had horrible results with most of the others. Some are very hard to get off of when your ready. Some even have a withdrawal.
But it is such a individual thing that you just can't compare. What works for 1 may not work for the other. And vice versa.

I know its hard to compare but I havent had much luck. I have bad nightmares with some and just wanted see what others have tried. I go to my new pain doctor on Friday and would like to see what I might try next.
I know how you feel. I personally had to try many different meds. to find something that would work for me. It's a trial and error thing. I don't want to take the chance of poisoning any 1 med for you. So I wont use any brand names. But I did try more than 1 that gave me the same side effects.
In fact it took many many tries to find what would work for me. And I was lucky to find a Dr. who was not going to give up until we found something that worked.
You do have to give each one a fair chance to work. As some or most, your body and mind need time to adjust and accept.
