I am an avid runner and gym rat. I have slight pronation which affects my knees. I recently tried a product called the VMS-ONE. It really has changed my way of thinking about shoe orthotics. I cant say enough about them. Try them out for all types of back/knee/ankle/foot pain and instability. EDITED

A Better overall body is key::..
The best Orthotics are pre-measured and a gait analysis done by your Chiropodist and is covered under most Insurance plans. I just got mine and they were about $400. and they fit into any closed shoe or boot. They make you walk better and your body weight is distributed over the orthotics so you can have less back or foot pain.
Any answers I have is not medical advice only a Doctor can help you with that. Just sharing my personal experience as a fellow Spine Health member only.
