Has anyone had a work realated injury

Has anyone had a work realated injury and is in Australia.
I assume it works a bit differently to the states though I am sure equally frustrating.
If so I would be really interested in swapping knowledge and experiences.

Hi...

Sara , no work related injury here and I am in the States but I wanted to bump your thread so maybe others will see it and be able to respond. I wish you the best of luck in dealing with WC and please keep us posted on how YOU are doing. Take care , Miki

thanks

Thanks Miki and Paula,

I dont think there are that many Aussies on here yet. I have spoken to a few people in hospital and tried to encourage them to join us so we will have to see.
As for other Aussies with work injuries well I suppose that narrows the field again.

As for me I am doing well most of the time. I am assuming that the fusion is going well as the Dr didn't say otherwise but he will wait till 6 months to do a CT and really tell. But I am walking more and more and I have no or negligable numbness in my feet and legs so that in itself was famtastic.
I love going shopping now and have dreaded it for the last few years.

Blessings to you both

Angel, Hi

My injury is work related, but I live in the States. Good luck with your search for Aussies and glad to hear you are progressing well.
