Sleep Position

Hello, just had anterior/posterior fusion L-3/L4 and L-4/L5 last Wednesday the 7th. From hospital to rehab center, now home at last. Being mindful of 'neutral spine', how long before I can lay on my side to sleep? Getting tired of laying on my back, particularly since there was a small lumbar tear during surgery and I had to remain motionless on my back for the first 24 hours after surgery. Ouchie.

Thanks for advice!

Congrats on your surgery

Congrats on your surgery and hope you will be sleeping well again!

Just wanted to say howdy and that I love your avatar.

I have a hard time sleeping on my back and haven't had surgery yet. Good luck on your recovery.

So you finally got relief.

So you finally got relief. Its difficult to compromise on sleep. To meet with the demand of personal and professional life, cutting back on needful of sleep can seem like the only alternative.
