I can't type for very long but want everyone to know the surgery was a success! I have no pain in the front and expected a lot of pain in the back, but not as bad as it was. Not only the neck muscles but deep nerve pain down both arms. I am on valium neurotin, baclefen, hydrocodone and oxcycoton. Of couse it is all scheduled through out the day. Anyway over the hump and get sutures out tomorrow. I am sleeping upright in a make shift recliner and did the same in the hospital. As you can tell I am pretty out of it. This forum helped a lot and I will write more in a few days when the pain isn's as bad.
Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers!
Regards,
Robin

Robin,
That is such good news. So glad to hear you are doing well. Just take it easy, relax and catch up on some rest. Before long you will be at the 6 week mark. Let us know how appointment goes with surgeon tomorrow. Take care.
Wonderful. Take it easy, don't overdo things, and follow dr's orders! You will be a wonderful success story!

I'm so glad you're moving along in your recovery. That was one heck-ofa surgery you had and you sound great.
You type really well for being "out of it." LOL
Take care, Robin. Let us know what the doc says and be sure to keep us posted. Like everyone says, follow doc's orders and I hope your recovery continues to go well.
