Hi Guys
Just went back to ortho and found out that the radiologist had added to my last neck MRI. Wish someone had shared that with me... oh well.
Here's what it says - right laterial focal extruded disc herniation at the t1/2 level into the neural foramen which narrows the neural foramen and impresses on the right T1 nerve root. No other upper thoracic herniations.
Found out that the surgeon who dismissed my pain was a spine surgeon. Next week I am going to a neuro surgeon. Ortho says that my pain matches the report.
I've tried searching for info on the t1 nerve root and can't get past the descriptions of how they are named. Anyone with similar problems? I'd like to hear what the docs told you.
Thanks
This link actually has some info on T1 (as well as the cervical spine).

I am not a doctor, my opinions are not meant to be medical advice. Just opinions from my personal experiences dealing with multiple spinal issues.
That is pretty cool. Thanks. Although I think that one slide creeped me out if it was what I think it was. lol
Has anyone had this particular injury? If so I'd be curious to know what treaments are available and what works.
