Anyone get head nerve pain, because of your neck issues ?

I know these issues come from the neck, but I was wondering if I was alone in this symptom...
Sometimes when my neck gets tight, the nerves start to itch , and well the feeling also feels "nervy" is the best that I can describe it, on the top of my head.

I tend to get it more laying on two pillows when the back of my neck is in a weird position from that and is probably pinching those nerves.

Its so not fun lol

According to an MRI in 2008 I had 2mm and 3mm herniations at C5/C6 and C6/ C7. Both having mild to slight central stenosis. Disc desiccation without protrusion at T1-2.
On my Xray from 2008 it said: Very minimal hypertrophic uncovertebral joints at C5-C6. Minimal osteophyte formations and foraminal impingement at C5/C6.

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that I've been getting strange nerve symptoms in my face and head, though I've not yet had any imaging done on this area because I can't afford it. Randomly, I get a numb right cheek; sometimes it's numb when I wake up, other times it's gotten numb while just sitting at work or school. However, so far, I've had no actual pain involved, just the numbness. It always goes awawy after a while, so it's not permanent.

Recently, I had another symptom. I woke up during the middle of the night with a numb area on my right scalp. When I told my Pain Management doctor, he seemed puzzled or was thinking. Of course he thinks I should have an MRI, but I really can't right now. The scalp numbness did go away after I got up and walked around for a while.

I should also note that I do get flare-ups of severe neck pain that radiates to my shoulder(s) and sometimes down my arm. I've had times where I had severe pain in my fingers at night and it's woken me up. When I told my rheumatologist, he just looked at my fingers, moved them around a bit, and told me there is no inflammation. Well, now I think the pain in my fingers was nerve pain. Howver, I also get all sorts of nerve symptoms all over the place and I don't know why.
