My pain is alot worse after the RFA. I have read other's experience with RFA and it doesn't sound like the one I had. The Dr placed the needles in 5 or 6 places and each time I felt GREAT pressure and pain, up into my head. I cried it hurt so bad. I went in today for a 2nd follow up and the nurse did not even discuss why I would be worse now 6 weeks post or what I should expect next. She told be to go see a surgeon. I asked, what kind? She said, any kind. She wanted another's perspective. She then abruptly left the room. When I went to check out at the front desk I noticed the rx was written for only 5 days, yet I wouldn't be back for 30! The receptionist said the nurse just left becz she became ill! The big brick wall went up and I'm told I have to make it last for 30 days! Does anyone have a suggestion or sympathy or anything? I'm so stunned at the treatment. 3 steroid injections, 3 nerve blocks and one RFA in 2 yrs, I just want to leave my poor body alone and take meds for a year. See if I recover from all the invasions! Is that asking too much?
