I take 2 diabetes meds, 5 hypertension meds, 1 cholesterol med, 1 thyroid med plus lyrica and I forgot what the other one was, lol.
I'm kind of wondering if this is going to be doable after acdf surgery. I keep hearing how hard and painful it is going to be to swallow. Well, chalk that up as an important question to ask the surgeon before the surgery date.
I'm not certain how many levels are going to be done. My DO thinks the surgeon will want to do C-3 thru C-6 or 7. Probably doesn't matter in terms of how difficult swallowing pills will be post surgery.

Ken,
Definitely talk to your doc, because many meds you cannot crush. I've read where some of the folks after ACDF's will use certain foods to swallow their meds with.
Hang in there!
