hi y'all
my name is maria and i was injured at work 9/1/05 for list to many heavy things at work. after going to er the next day for burning sensation i went on my own to find a doc. i did tell my boss about no report or anything as such. i found os which orders mri L4-S1 herniated. by boss never filed my report, so after i took it upon myself to file, my doc told me a microdiscectomy would help. 10/21/05 i go for surgery, everything seemed to be ok. take stitches out next day settled in. on 12/03/05 i go back into surgery to clean out infection.
meantime, i am battling wc for all this i win my case 3 times in 06 went back to work after being out 9 mths. 07 comes and was not feeling right something wrong and guess what reherniated L4-S1 and a new hernia L3/4 did discogram and myleogram fusion was my only option 12/14/07 2 level tlif L4-S1 but L3/4 not touched since it "wasn't" bothering me in my tests. once again i am battling wc. i lost my first round with wc but going in for appeal. i also file ss and was denied as well have attn for that.
i have 2 teens who i love to pieces and helps me whenever i need them to help (blessing teens will be teens) and a spouse who is always there for me for whatever i need (blessed again) i also have my "aunt" family friend who lives with us, without her i'd be in big crap.
i have new issues going on but with wc and the bs i have to deal with from them i have to wait for God knows how long.
docs can't do anything else until i get ct scan done....
that is my story in a nutshell.
