Points?

What are the points for? And why does each post require a subject even if it's already under a thread?

So many questions, I know.

Teri

Points and Subject

Hi Teri,

Glad you made it to the new site.

Subject: That is one of the features that Drupal and many other forum based software require. For each post, you must put in a subject. Doesnt have to follow the previous post, almost anything. The PunBB software did NOT require that.

Points: Points are earned based on the number of Posts/Logins that you make. (I think) I know that the more posts you make the more points you have. On one of my web forum sites, I put out starts, 1 star per 100 posts. So points is similiar

Its John, I think

Although I was an oldie I am a newbie, always said that diet was working, my cycling must be going backwards, but the time space element is fantastic, my teenage years await.

Nice to see some names I know, I feel refreshed myself, change is never dull…......sorry I was laughing, I peeked into chronic pain, and nearly had a Ctrl Alt Delete moment, my heart-rate has now slowed and normal posting is resuming.

Take care, John

Hi Jenny

Good to see you here. It's like home....only different LOL!
We'll be pro's at this one in no time and we'll forget all about how to use the old board.
