Neurosurgeon or Orthopedic Surgeon?
I am 44 and have L4-L5 degenerative disc which I have been able manage. Now I'm having upper back pain on my left side only all the way from the center of the spine around the entire ribs. I also feel burning pain on the surface from the ribs to abdomen. It hurts to turn my neck to my left and it's uncomfortable tolift my left arm.
Whom should I go see, a neurosurgeon or an orthopedist?
