PAIN PROBLEM
Hi I am new here with a very serious pain problem .I have had for a year now.

I have had pain in my thigh,hip,lower back area on my left side.The pain runs down to my leg when I am walking.Nerve damage test EMG showed no damage.The doctor said possible bands around my bone area are causing the pain.I was on GABAPENTIN for three months no improvement.I had a fusion done in 2007 ON L4 and L5.I also have stenosis.My nerosurgeon sent me to an orthopedic doctor.He could not help.I am with another ortho doc now and he ask me after the x-ray what do you want me to do.I am at my wits end.I need to keep my job very badly.I am sorry about my grammar it is terrible

Hi, welcome to spine health. Sorry to hear about your pain. You will find a lot of supportive and unfortunately experienced people here. Don't give up, keep trying different doctors until you get relief. Pain is a horrible thing.
24 years old. Started having neck and shoulder pain around age 18.

I am glad your are doing better.I will not give up.I have obligations.I just pray my manager does not try and replace me just because I have a limp.Not sure how you spell limp,crip whatever.It gets old when everyone ask what happened to you.I feel they truly are concerned.I still pull my load at work and home even in pain.Thanks for the reply I hope you stay in good shape.Have a great week!

Pain management and this one is not one of the drug dealers type places.They put me on a new type of patch I wear every 7 days.Butran.It was a real relief yesterday with ten milligram but today I was again in pain walking.Then I found out I need to read the direction of application of the patch dummy me.So I will se friday how I feel with a new patch since I ruined the other one.I think he said it could be up to 20 mg if I was still in a lot of pain.He wants my MRI COPIES AMD THE EMG so he can take a look at them.
