I thought some of you may be interested in the following new study.
"People who suffer from debilitating neuropathic pain may get more relief and sleep better by combining two commonly-prescribed drugs." The two drugs are gabapentin and nortriptyline, which is an anti-depressant. Here is a link to the study that was published on Oct. 9th, 2009.

Gwennie, that is very interesting. My doctor has prescribed Neurontin, amitryptaline, and cymbalta together, stating that the three in combination give better results than individually. I've been taking this combo for about a year and sometimtes I think it doesn't do anything, but then I will skip a few doses and find out that it really does help. I just wish there was a magic cure to take it all away.
