I have been on Duragesic patches for 7 months but due to cost I am trying Mylan brand. Anyone have any comments or suggestions? I am hoping that the Mylan works as my Ins co co pay for Duragesic is 479 a month compared to 0 for Mylan. I should add that I finally met my deductible, so I am not sure what the duragesic would cost, but I know my insurance will not pay for name brand when you can take generic. I also take bt meds.

I prefer the Mylan brand to Duragesic simply because of the size of the Mylan and the delivery method. I cover them with tegaderm that I bought pretty cheaply on one of the online auction sites and I have not experienced any problems with the Mylan brand at all.
I know that my insurance would not cover the Duragesic, well they would but my copay would be around 500.00 a month for them after my insurance paid their share, so with the Mylan brand, I pay 5.00...big, huge difference for me.

CES and more....
I have used Mylan patches before and they were okay. I get whatever comes in to my pharmacy and I have tried all the brands except Duragesic. I heard the name brand worked better but no way would I pay that much money. I happy with my ten dollar copay.
