With neck issues and thyroid

With neck issues and thyroid issues it can be difficult to tell what is causing what.

Your MRI doesn't sound bad but could be an issue.

Have you had a thyroid ultrasound or uptake lately?

Where exactly is the complex lesion?

Some of your problems may

Some of your problems may stem from neck issues and others from thyroid issues. I think I would get the thyroid taken care of first and see what is left to deal with.

I sent you a PM of a link that may be helpful as far as the thyroid is considered.

What has your doctor had to say about the disk issue?

when i was first diagnosed with thyroid problems i was sent for an ultrasound, found out that i also had Hashimoto's. at the time i had a constant sore throat and a feeling of pressure ,i was also choking a lot of my foot and would take multiple times swallowing to get my food down.i found out that my thyroid was inflamed. So you can definitely have a sore throat with thyroid issues. Also disc bulges can give you pain if it happens to be pressing on nerves.Good luck with your doctors apt. Let us know how you make out.

update...had my ultrasound

update...had my ultrasound and this is what it said. FINDINGS..evaluation of the right and left thyroid lobes was performed as per stander protcol.right thyroid lobe measures 5.6x2.7x2.3 cm.singlearea of asymmetric echogenicity noted within the lower pole of the thyroid consistent with a nodule.this has both solid and cystic characteristics and measures 1.6 cm in maximal diameter.on the left the thyriod measures 5.8x3.3x2.5 cm.the patient demonstrates two dominant nodules.one located within the lower pole, which is at least60% cystic,measures1.9 cm in maximal diameter.the second within thew upper pole, which is predominately solid,measing1.3 cm. findings correlate with nodular signal characteristics seen on previous mri. impression.....1.bilateral thyroid nodules without clear evidence of dominance.findings most consistent with a multinodular goiter.......my dr is going to set me up with and appointment to see some kind of dr i forgot what he said.
