According to my docs, my si joint is structurally in good shape. One says he thinks the pain I'm experiencing is coming from my spondi, but I've had an SI joint block that worked like a miracle. Chiros tell me the problem is structural and mechanical -- and frankly, I'd rather try anything else before signing up for the lumbar fusion my one doc recommended.
I love the NY Times' coverage of health issues, and I found this article on prolotherapy (see below). It looks like yet another promising treatment that the traditional medical establishment is poo-pooing, much to the detriment of all of us. One of the experts the Times quoted practices in my area, so I figured I'd give it a shot. My first appt. is Friday, May 4. Anyone got experience they can share?
