After Surgery

Hi Everyone!

I have l4-s1 herniation's, arthritis in my spine, spondelothesis, and a transitional spine. I had both a microdiscectomy and a laminectomy about 3 months ago. This injury happened about 2 years ago.

When I was first injured I had the numbness and tingling associated with disc herniation. However as time went on the numbness went away and my legs began to hurt, ache even. I cannot seem to find the right words for this pain. What I can say about it is it's uncomfortable and is more painful the tighter my back gets.

Does anyone else experience this? I the doctors I have been to seem to just take note of it but never really address it. Does anyone know what causes this? Any info would be noted. I am just interested. Thanks
