Burning pain in both legs after microdiscectomy

Hi all, I am hoping someone has some input here. I am 8 weeks post microdiscectomy surgery on L5-S1. In the past week I have noticed a burning sensation down both of the fronts of my lower legs. I wouldn't be as concerned if it were only the affected pre-surgery leg, but both legs? And why starting at week 7? Overall I feel much better than pre-surgery and it isn't really pain, more annoying burning sensations. My strength in my affected pre-surgery leg has returned greatly, but again, just concerned by the symptoms now in my lower left leg (knee down into shin mostly). It mostly burns when I am standing and not so much walking. Any input here? Any similar experiences? Thanks for reading.

is still very early in your recovery. I would guess that you still have nerves that are healing. You may want to check with doc to be sure.

I have the same symptoms after microdiscectomy as jillbee16 but my operation was 8 month ago...and burning is still there not allowing me to sit or stand for longer then 0.5 hour. Any solution ??
I have tried physiotherapy, therapeutic classes in pool, chiropractor, acupuncture. My strength is good, nerves reaction for tests are good but burning is still there
