I have never heard of this but wanted to welcome you to the forum. Hopefully someone will be along soon that is familiar with it. Good luck.

I'm not sure what the block would be, but my peronial nerve was blocked and I did not know it. I had developed foot drop and I ended up wearing a brace so I could walk without tripping over things. I had a back doctor try to tell me that I needed back surgery to fix the problem. Thank God my husband insisted that I get a 2nd opinion. As it turns out, I did have a herniated disc, but it was very mild as they go and he said that most people my age (48 now, but 47 then) have a herniated disc to some degree or other. He said that mine was not what was causing my problem. I already deal with neuropathy, so I just assumed the fact that I lost more feeling to my left calf and foot was due to the neuropathy. This was not the case. Long story short, my peronial nerve was blocked big time. I had surgery to have it unblocked and now I can walk correctly and no more foot drop. What a relief!! I thought I was going to end up crippled. I'm so glad I got that 2nd opinion!!!!!
