constant back pain!

Hi! Im a 21 year old female.

I was told i have some very slight scoliosis, about 2 or 3 years ago by a doctor. Ive always had some back pain but in the recent months its gotten worse. My back is in almost constant pain and i feel the need to "crack" it all the time as well as my neck. The last 2 years have been kinda stressful for me and I know that can give you knots and stuff but is there a reason why my back always hurts and needs to be cracked beside my slight scoliosis..which couldnt have gotten that much worse in 2 years could it?

thanks all!

What have you tried?

What kind of treatments have you tried? Welcome to Spine Health. I have gotten relief with chiropractic or now from an Osteopathic Doctor. Maybe they could help stretch you and help your body get in alignment so you won't need to crack all the time. They may have some exercises that would be good for you.

Good luck,
julile

Hello, I understand what

Hello, I understand what you're going through. I'm 38 now, but was Certified Nursing Assistant for two years 20-22 (have ideoptathic scoliosis) & back was always soooo stiff! Started doing swimming and going to the chiropractor when younger & this helps, along with lots of walking. Used to take Tylenol for pain & it helped. Now i do back care yoga (for beginners) there's a DVD by Rodney Yee @ Target or Walmart or whatever that's only 15.00 & it really stretches the back out. You just need a yoga mat, chair, & strap. It's very easy, but highly effective imho! Good luck & give us update when you get a chance!
