Monday night, a new week for sleep!
good evening all! going on midnight here! had an early nap and will be under the covers with my doggie just waiting for my eyes to get heavy and sleep to visit.
the east coast is asleep and dreaming.
the other side of the world is up and busy.
anyone waiting for sleep tonight? Jenny
2:30 here in Texas and I can't find sleep anywhere! I've looked everywhere and it is just not to be found! The mail pharmacy has jacked around and messed up my order that contains my script for Ambien CR so I am still not able to fall asleep. I think I'm on my second week with little sleep, but I can't remember for sure... I called them to see what the hold up was and they gave me some bull cr*p story about having an unpaid balance on my account. I had them to check again and they were wrong! They apologized and said it would be mailed out ASAP. Needless to say, I was ticked! I let them know how upset I was over their incompetency! I'm sure that will fix EVERYTHING!
Hope you all are enjoying some sleep. Try to have a good week! Blessings to all...
Terrie
Now knock this stuff off! I have had the worst couple of nights in a long time. See what I get for joining you in this thread. Jinxed myself. Ugh!
No more! I must sleep! I need lots of beauty rest so people don't run and hide when I walk down the street!

I am so sorry to see that you guys are getting no sleep. This cold weather has gotten to me so bad that I am having a difficult time sleeping myself. I have been having alot of different pain in my hands, legs and knees since the cold weather set in. Have you ever tried a tsp of peanut butter and about 6-8 oz of warm milk before bed? This really helps me sometimes. It may not work for you but I thought it was worth suggesting. Hope all of you manage to get some good restful sleep tonight.

Sorry to hear that you have been bitten by the no sleep bug. It really stinks! What do you do to pass the time when you are stuck awake? If you lived where I do I could tell you what is on TV at all hours of the night!
I was up all night... again! Still waiting for those sleep meds to show up. I am so anxious to see them come in the mail. When I see that mailman coming, I might just cry!! He would probably think I'm crazy. He wouldn't be far off, that's for sure.
Hope you guys are able to get a bit of rest today and sleep all night tonight! Have a good day!

It seems like she's been waiting on those meds forever.
Maybe Terrie, you should order the next ones as soon as you get those ones
(not funny I know) I DO hope they come.
You know my insurance will only pay for 15 ambian a month, and I never had a problem before because I don't take them that often.Even though I don't sleep well I dunno,I just don't usually rely on the ambian..well this month I called yesterday (I had them filled on the 1st but as I mentioned only get 15) and I asked if I could just pay for them instead of waiting until the first as I had taken them this month. They said yes,but people don't normally want to she said because they are the CR and are 103.00 for 15 of them! I told her that I would wait until the 1st
I'm glad your warm and toasty Jenny~if anyone deserves it~lol,WE ALL DO......but of course you do...you are always the one leaving the light on here for the rest of us

I'm so sorry that you guys have been awake by yourself the last few nights. After getting my sleep meds in I bounced around here (as well as I CAN bounce) all giddy with delight! I couldn't wait until bedtime came. Bedtime rolled around and I cuddled in to my covers and before I knew it, I was asleep! Yesterday evening when my husband got home from work he was all grouchy and I asked him if he didn't sleep well. He told me I kept him up all night SNORING!!! HAHAHA what a switch! Last night, a repeat of the night before! It's funny to me that he has had his sleep disturbed when MY sleep has been disturbed forever, but he didn't give it a second thought. I asked him if he wanted to sleep on the couch so I wouldn't disturb him! lol He didn't think it was near as funny as I did!
Hope your sleep is better tonight. Lucky me, it's a football night and I get to go freeze my tail off! I'll check in later to see if anyone is awake. Later friends!
Terrie
Glad to hear that you've gotten a few nights of sleep finally!

Jenny,we had to turn our clocks back tonight here on the east coast-so it is 2am now(we gained an hour just like that-lol).
I'm so sad that you are blue~~you are always so upbeat and cheering us all on.But you know that you're allowed..
We all have those days or moments...I just hope that yours doesn't last very long..
Hey-I finally got my haircut(lol),and it's awful, but oh well.I colored it too and that turned out good.I only color it as close to my natural color(with very subtle highlights) as I can only to cover the gray..
This is Michaels weekend off and why I haven't been posting as much as usual. We were out to dinner last night and tonight..and getting groceries and other things accomplished.I also had to get a new sweeper as mine quit working the other day.
I hope you get caught up with your sleep & get your med schedule back on track..Bless your heart.
Girls~
I'm so sorry that you are having such a hard time getting good sleep. If I could share my sleepy time medicine, I would. Maybe you could suggest it to your doc? Not being able to sleep makes me so edgy and I am unable to handle my pain very well. Tonight, I had a hard time staying awake all evening long. I'm up right now only because I was hurting and it woke me up. I'm hoping I'll be able to go back to sleep soon. My husband and I did a bunch of chores around here today. I had to take advantage of the help while it was being offered. When he gets in there to help though I feel like I have to just go, go, go. Normally when I do any chores I take it easy and break often in order to not wear myself out. But, today I had to do some cleaning PLUS go to the store to do some shopping. I would rather take a whipping than go shopping. I'm definitely not a shopper. All of these things add up to painful downtime.
On a good note~ my daughter's volleyball team is advancing to the district play-offs so their season has been extended. I really like to watch volleyball and I'm so excited for her to be doing so well for her senior year. We will have to drive for two hours to go watch the next game, which will be this Tuesday. I've got to start storing up some energy for that trip! After they finish up with volleyball she will start basketball... yea! I'm just about give out! Keep on pushing, keep on pushing.
I hope you get some rest, my friends. I'll check in on you later today. Sweet painless dreams!

Jenny~
You really need to get some good sleep! I worry about you! I see that you have posts at all hours of the night. Do you take something to help you sleep? I have been sleeping so much better since I got my sleep meds. I'm still waking up a couple of times during the night, but I'm usually able to go back to sleep.
Take it easy and take care of yourself... sleep when you can.
Terrie
Well another weekend over..Michael gets a 3 day weekend every other week and though I know he deserves it and I generally look forward to it...sometimes it can be totally exhausting ..
Jenny, are things back on track yet? When I'm up at all hours, which is common because Michael works night shift and even on his nights off he trys to stay on schedule..I watch movies on OVGuide or do laundry, write letters,do bills, surf the net, stuff like that.I never get into heavy duty cleaning, otherwise I would never be able to fall asleep.Sometimes I give myself a pedicure or manicure,or try something new with my hair if I'm really bored. One time I rearranged all of my bedroom..but when Michael came home I had him help me put it back in the original order
.That was a couple years ago before my cervicle problems.I couldn't do it now if I wanted to
Terrie~I hope you have a good time at your daughters game tonight..and that she wins(
)
Is'nt it funny how your husband took for granted his sleep...but not yours.I'm not saying this against him ..I love my Michael dearly and usually never say a word unless in his favor, but I see the same thing here.I can lose sleep or suffer in a manner for ages and it's just 'the way it is',but when the same thing happens with him you would think the sky had fallen or some earth shattering experience had taken place. It amazes me always..and reinforces my belief that we women are the stronger of the two species
Michael & I:
I haven't seen you post yet tonight I've been watching in between my "cat naps" just alittle worried about you
Or should I be excited for you for finally sleeping at night?

Hello to all and a good morning to you! My sleep is so off and on. I'm falling asleep much easier, but waking every few hours due to pain. Yesterday I didn't do much, a load of laundry, cooked dinner and cleaned up the mess. I tried to sit up in the livingroom for as long as possible, watching TV with my husband, but finally had to give it up and go lay down around 8:30. The chest pain I've been having makes it so uncomfortable to sit up for very long. Breathing is uncomfortable and the way I sit, leaning forward to help breathe better, makes my upper back hurt also. If it's not one thing it's a million others... lol
I'm so excited to go watch her play. Not so excited about the 2 1/2 hour drive to get there. I'll take it very easy today so MAYBE I won't be toast by the time I get there. On the bright side, I'm going to have my husband get me frozen yogurt at my favorite ice cream place on the way back home!!
Tonight is the big play-off game for my daughter's volleyball team! Yea!
Hope you guys have a great day! I'll check you later... Hope you all got some sleep or are in the process of getting some sleep! Have a good one...

Hi friends~
I just got home from the volleyball game. It was a five hour round trip drive and the game lasted two hours... WE WON!! Our girls will advance to the next round of the playoffs which will be Area (I believe). That game will be Saturday and will be a four hour round trip drive. It wasn't too awful because my husband went with me and we picked my sister up along the way to go with us. It was a pretty good time for the first couple of sets, and then, just like a switch was turned off, I felt like poop! I didn't know if I was going to make it to the end! But I did... I normally take my sleep medicine at 8-8:30 but didn't get to it until 12 so it may take me some time to wind down and get to sleep. I have nothing to do tomorrow anyway so I can sleep as late as I want to. This weekend is looking like it will be full of "going and going". Friday night is our last football game (an out of towner), Saturday will be the next game for the volleyball playoffs (also an out of towner), and Sunday, we may have to do some family time with my sister-in-law and her family (again an out of towner). I may have to miss the sis-in-law time. I don't see me going three days in a row, but we'll see. I'm for sure making those ball games!
How is everyone faring this evening? Feeling OK? Feel like you might be going to sleep any time soon? I hope that sleep fairy comes to visit you all and gives you a soft tap on the head with her sleepy wand! Have a good night, you all! Much hugs to you...
Terrie
I was up and down all night but didn't get on the commputor. I have a seriously horrible cold. I cough and it feels like someone has stabbed me in between the should blades, hopefully it won't be a long cold, don't know it I'd make it, okay so I would live but sure don't feel like it....
Iam so happy for you to make it to the game to watch them win. Wishing lots of luck for BIG wins this weekend.

I hope you get to feeling better real quick. Get you some chicken soup. I read some where that it really does help you. I hope you are resting so you can kick it quicker. I order you back to bed and to drink plenty of fluids!! Have a good day!

I'm so happy to see that none of the usual late-night posters are up and posting. I hope this means that you have managed to be able to drift off to sleep, snuggled beneath your warm blankets. I was sleeping soundly and then woke up, out of the blue! Hopefully it will be but for a brief time and I'll be right back to sleep, but I'm not holding my breath!
Sweet dreams to all...
Terrie
Thank you everyone for the get well wishes, I can't sleep but more than 2-3 hours at a time. I now have ear infection, but I figure Iam getting my sickies for the year in now and won't have to deal with it later...
Trater I do hope you drifted off to sleep again right way, it is 3:30 am here and really cold. I've got my soft pj's, heat pad and chicken soup.
I think part of my probem is I am also worried about my hubby. Monday night he was at his second job delivering pizza and was hit by this lady. The gal got a ticket for not yielding and NO INSURANCE. We only had liability on our van because it was paid off. So we are out of luck, the gal told my hubby "I have a part-time job, 3 kids and an asshole for an ex-husband go ahead and sue me I have nothing".My husband has some broken ribs, gash on his head, but won't take it easy, hasn't missed a day of work on either job, I can't work and am waiting on disability . I guess I feel alittle quilty right now.I just wish I could do something. What really upsets me is our rig was totalled and the gal drove away from the wreck in her car.Well, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
As ordered by Trater Iam going back to bed...LOL
Thanks everyone,
Jeanette

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's bad luck with wreck. That would be about my luck, someone run in to me and have no insurance. It doesn't really seem fair, does it. Try not to give in to the guilts about not working... The things that are going on with your health are NOT your fault. This is something that is happening to you, not something that you have asked for or even want. It's wonderful that your husband is a good provider and has taken on an extra job to fill in the gap until your disability comes through. A person could end up in the poor house waiting on disability. I hope that it comes through soon for you so that it can provide you a little relief!
Take care of yourself so you can get over the sicks! Love that husband of yours!
Have a ggod day!

I can't seem to find that comfy spot tonight, I hope you other guys are getting enough sleep for all of us. Tomorrow night I will sleep...Just trying to tell my body what to do.
Hope sleep is finding you guys, dream for me

it's 330am here, we must have just missed eachother.Trater and lulusheart, where are you 2 from? I live here in Washington, on the Washington and Idaho border.
It is so neat to see people from all over on here. But, not so neat we are all here for the same reason. Iam fortunate though, my problems didn't start until 2 years ago, before that I was very active, now I can't even wash and dry my own hair some days. But, Iam also very lucky to have a very loving and supportive family. Although my daughter says she won't ever help me if it comes to needing help with something down farther than my waist. (LOL)
Well, Iam going to go lay down for another "cat nap".

Hey girls...
I'm a Texas gal so I'm a couple of hours ahead of you two. It seems that the sleep fairy must be on the other side of the world! I had a bit of a time sleeping last night. I couldn't get comfortable and was hurting in my hips. It's so strange! When I am physically hurting, I dream that my legs won't work... I can't walk or something. My dreams are always so very vivid. It isn't so bad when they are just goofy dreams, but when they are bad dreams, you for sure don't want it to be a vivid dream!
I'm babbling! I'll check you guys out later. I have a volleyball game to go to!
Terrie
Okay girls Iam desperate, it's 11:45 pm here and at 8pm I took 2 oxy, soma and nuerotin, Iam dingier than heck but no sleep. You'd think that would knock me on my b--t.I am going to try to lay down now (again)

Hi gals~
It's almost 2:30 here and I'm the only one stirring around in here... It's as quiet as a church in here! I fell asleep on the ride home from the volleyball game, which I never do and then came in and went right to bed... problem is, my daughter wanted to hang out with her boyfriend and a group of friends watching a movie and I couldn't sleep until she got home. She just made it about 15 minutes ago. Maybe I can now get some real sleep!
The game didn't have a good turn out... they lost! They were playing like they had rocks in there pants or something. They moved slow and like they didn't know what they were doing! I felt bad for my girl when it was over. She was crying... Tuesday, we start basketball season! The fun never stops!lol
I'm going to try to hit the sack now. Hope you all are getting some sleep! Good night, friends!

I slept from 2am to 7 am this morning, finally!!! I feel so much better. I wish every night was like that.
Sorry your game didn't go so well, they'll rip'em apart in basketball!!!
It's raining cats and dogs here, good day for warm pj's, blankets and movies. Maybe since it's raining my hubby will stay inside and take it easy today.Yesterday he cleaned out all of the goat pins and was really sore last night with his broken rib.
Well, you girls have an awesome day.
