After having a bad reaction to Effexor at around 2:45 yesterday afternoon, I spent 4 hours with my daughter laughing/worrying about how wired I was. I was absolutely manic. I finally started yawning around 7pm, so I thought it was over, then a half hour later I'm wired again. Tried to lay down several times, only tossed and turned.
I've never had such a reaction to any drug before....
Now I get to try another new drug tonight, hope it doesn't do the same thing, It'll be just like old times when I went days with no to only a few hours sleep a night.

I never took Effexor but I know of someone who did, and she had the same reaction. In some people it causes them to go "manic" and they feel super energetic. It's hard to say if the Effexor is reacting with your other meds, but it's best to call a pharmacist since they have the expertise to answer that sort of question. Take care and I hope you catch some ZZZZzzzz...
