I'm currently trying to become a polyphasic sleeper - where I sleep for 2 hours a night and then nap occasionally throughout the day.
Info on polyphasic sleeping is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyphasic_sleep
My blog is here:
http://polyphasium.blogspot.com/
I'm much more alert throughout the day and the sleep I get is of much higher quality than before. Others who have tried it have reported it helping or curing all kinds of sleep disorders. So far for me it's awesome.
Some people who get stiff from sleeping report that they no longer have that problem because their body isn't in bed long enough for that to occur.
hi! i see this is your first post and so first i want to welcome you to the forum!
we are here to offer you support and answer what questions we can.. it is so opportune that you would bring this up.
i have never heard of it before but have accepted that i will not sleep at night much ( a couple of hours at the most) and then get good rest from a nap in the day.. now i know what i have been doing..
thank you for bringing this to my attention.
i feel much better not trying to chase sleep at night and look forward to my nap each afternoon.
stop by this forum if you are up at night!
