What fun Jenny, I would love

What fun Jenny, I would love to live on the beach! Our traditional plans are to see my sister in law, which we are doing on Thursday and then a friend from work is having a BBQ on the 4th. That's about it here. I'm not much for doing fireworks myself (my fire department background has an affect there) but I do like the big commercial displays.

I hope everyone has a fun, safe and pain free 4th!

Jay

The beach sounds fun

We are actually going during the day to the mountains for some more flag stone. My son, who is 12, wanted his "own" flower bed so we started a big project and now we need more flat rock to make a walk way. Iam very excited to get out of the house and do something... Then, that night we go down by the river and watch the fire works display they do a big show here.
Today my husband has off so we are going to go look at a vw bug I found on craigslist for our daughter, she will be driving soon, scary!!!!The kids do 4H so they both have they're own savings account and that's what she wants. It is a 67, but looks in pretty good shape...
Hope everyone has an awesome 4th!!!

Sleep

Hi All,

It 2:25 am my time and can't sleep. I am having a hard time finding a comfortable position to sleep in. My ankle/foot are still really swollen and I am on bed rest still. I am so happy to have a laptop that I can lay and bed and play on the computer. I went to sleep yesterday at 6:15 am in the morning and slept until 12:20 Pm. My hubby and I are just staying home for the 4th of July and will just listen and see all the illegal fireworks that go off in our neighborhood. Jenny so nice you live so close to the beach and that you can watch the fireworks. I hope everyone has a good 4th. Big Hug Big Hug Big Hug to all my spiney friends.

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!!!

Lots of pretty fireworks here....
We went during the day and filled our pickup with slate rock and had a fun little picnic. I didn't do too bad, nobody let me lift but the roads were REALLY bumpy so that part was bad, other than that it was a fun day, just alittle sore today.
Hope everyone else had a good time!!! Today we had a big thunderstorm and heavy rain, it really felt good and cooled things off for a change. Saturday it was 103 and way too hot...

Kate, sorry you miserable

About the mole, my daughter is 15 and last Friday she had to have one removed on her arm with the 8mm punch method., It took about 4 stiches to close up. We are waiting for the results to make sure they got it all. It was A typical, pre- melanoma, scares me to death, she is only 15...But, atleast we are catching them early!!! Hope everything with yours tuns out fine!!!!Let us know.

Hi Jeanette,

Sorry about your daughter, but at least it was caught early that is a blessing. I will keep you up dated. How is your daughter liking the car you and hubby got for her? All spineys have a nice day and hope it is not to painful for you.

Hi Insomniacs!

I've been up and down all night, partly due to pain and mostly due to my dang silly cat, Allie!!! Moved to a new home with cat doors and she keeps bringing in "mouse presents" during the night! Ugghh, she is quite proud of herself, purring happily, while I pick up the poor present by the tail and toss it out the door, LOL. Think I'm going to have to close those doors at night and she can go play in the barn all night while I try to get some sleep!

How did yesterday go for you Kate? Hope the block helped with your foot pain. Hello to Jay, love your dog, and hello to those I haven't had the privilege of meeting yet! Hope you all have a restful day.

Hey everyone

We got a wonderful call yesterday from the derm. Dr. and he said they think they got it all on my daughter but they'll watch her every 6 months. I also took her stitches out last night. She's doing fine, but it is going to leave a small scar.... But, that better than the alternative, right???
Jenny, I so wish you could get some sleep, thank Goodness Iam back to my regular sleeping pattern and just get up and walk around for alittle while then I go back to bed... I go through patterns but, it is better then no sleep every night...
We are headed to Spokane tomorrow for a wedding on Saturday, staying with my sister Friday night then a hotel on Saturday night, the kids are very excited. We got a good deal at Howard Jonsons, indoor pool, hot tub, arcade room, the whole works so thay're happy...I'll just have to remember the quarters!!! LOL
Anyone heard from Jay? I haven't seen him post for a while, just wondering if everything is okay...Maybe he he's off on a wonderful vacation somewhere, just wishful thinking for him...
Well, I hope everyone has an awesome weekend, I plan to try to make this fun for my family, no pain, no pain no pain.........(There goes my wishful thinking... LOL)
