Cerivcal Stenosis with arm and leg fasciculation
This past Monday, Oct 19,2009 I had a MRI and an EMG, the thought was actually poss. ALS. Turns out the fasciculations and weakness were due to a stenosis in the c4,5 region and there are signs of moderate arthritus, it appears there is no fluid around the cord, I have a little weakness and other than wlaking unstable few other problems. I'm new here so any imput will be appreciated.

I also was diagnosed with severe stenosis at c4-5. My symptoms were arm pain,leg pain and walking issues. My stenosis was so bad the surgeon scheduled surgery on the spot. I had a corpectomy at c4-5 with fusion of c3 thru c6, with cage and plate to stabilize my neck. I no longer have walking issues or pain in my arms or legs. Symptoms that I had previous to surgery are all gone. Symptoms that my pcp and I both thought that were not related, Dizziness, visual disturbances are gone. Have you seen a surgeon? I also had all over body aches which my pcp stated was arthritis, wrong! that also disappeared.
