Just short of five months ago quit smoking, and it was hard, took chantix for 17 days before surgery, then after surgery never took it again, Went through the withdrawals, cravings, and major bitchyness, oops, take that back, I am just always in bitchyness mood, hehhe
A few weeks ago, at my wits end with stuff, I lit one up, omg, I inhaled, and choked, and had trouble breathing, then inhaled another one, choked, coughed, hurt my neck trying to breath while choking on the poison I inhaled, then I put smoke in toilet.
After, I brushed teeh, and brushed and brushed, and felt sick and dizzy, and no matter how much I brushed teeth, I couldn't get the horrid tast out.
Hmm, I am glad I tried to smoke one, but am happier that I couldn't inhale it, that I hated the taste even more, and woohoo, I feel FREE
Smoking is NOT an option

That is great news BG!!!!!
I had a strong craving Saturday night after the 5th cocktail but I did NOT give in. I'm not sure I would be as fortunate as you and not like it. With my luck, 1 would lead back to a pack a day.
Congratulations you "non-smoker"

It's that 1st cig that starts me back again. Wish I could say that it tasted terrible. Not the case with me.
I'm starting all over again and it is not pleasant getting through the initial withdrawals.
I fell off the horse after 290 days. It did taste crappy. I don't have a desire to smoke. Like Eve, I gagged on the thing and wanted no more of it. Now I'm like 310 days out. No relapse.
Never mind world peace. How about using your turn signals !!!
WOW ZO6, that mean total of 600 days, been that long already, no way,
I still crave, but moreout of habit, even dream, but the smell, gross, the taste, nasty, lol, I laugh at others with smokes hanging from lips, thinking that used to be me, how unnatural, lol,,,,

Not 600 days Eve. I fell off the horse at day 290. Now I am 307 days since I stopped. So 17 days since I had an ooopsss... It was a horrible day and I was drunk. Fortunately it tasted crappy and I'm not interested in doing that anymore.
