I am a 17 year old male. 15 months ago a tumor was discovered underneath the spine and it was beginning to crush the spinal cord at the C8 level. This was the explanation to the muscle loss i experienced in my hand So I immediately had it removed but during the surgery they cut the C8 nerve root. As you could imagine it led to more problems, so i now how C5-T3 spinal fusion and no C8 nerve root. After the surgery my left hand stayed at the same level of strength, but my right hand continued to get weaker. Then i popped a cap off a screw and had to have it all redone with bigger hardware. Now its at c4-T3 and my hand continues to get weaker. My question for you is what could possibly help? i want to try acupuncture or something like that what do you think???
