Dynamic MRI machines

hello-- I want to share some information about an MRI machine that helped me be diagnosed properly. This is called a Dynamic MRI--- basically, your MRI is done while standing or sitting/ showing flexation and extension of you spine. NOT just the lay down machines that are in most hospitals, *in Canada*. I found this machine through one clinic in Kamloops, BC. (and this is not covered by BC Medical, have to pay privately). I dont' want to put a link in because I think it is against rules for posting messages.. so google it if intersted.
This test showed, after three and a half years of fighting my GP, that there IS something wrong in my back. All those years though, I was told.. it is in my head, I just can't handle pain, I just don't want to work, etc.....
So, this test, and only this test, really helped me finally get on the path to some pain relief.
If someone else can benefit too--- YAY!!
Thanks for reading!

Hi Sally

This is an interesting post as I was wondering if there were any standing MRIs in BC. Did you have a conventional lay down MRI previously that did not show your condition? You can send me a PM if you wish.
