Sclerotic focus?

hi, i'm new to site and would like to thank everyone for t all of the informative posts. I have learned more on this one site in 2 weeks than from the hundreds of internet searches that iv'e done over the past 10 years.

One question. I am reviewing my latest MRI report and i don't understand something the Radioligist wrote.
"There appears to be a small sclerotic focus on the iliac side of the right S1 joint that may be degenerative in nature"
Can anyone help translate this into English??

thanks
