Hi Everyone,

My name is Pat. I'm a 20 year old male and I'm having some serious issues after back surgery. I'm new to forums and writing on here so try to bare with me if you can. I had the surgery I listed above for a herniated disc about 7 months ago. A bone was shaved a little to give the nerve more room, and the disc was pushed back into place slightly. While I am still having severe back pain, my doctors have told me it is the scar tissue and it still needs time.

What my real concern has become is my frequency of urinating, which has contributed to my depression (inability to fall asleep) a lot. Being so young I'm more scared than anything that i may have permanent damage to anything that's causing me to pee so much. I've seen a urologist who gave me a catscan which turned out all normal. I had a urinalysis and bloodwork done, all normal as well

I know this isn't much to go on but I can give any more information if it is needed. I am currently on Ultram and Lodine for the back pain.

What could be causing this increase in urination?
